Terms & conditions

These terms cover the OneUp Series website and every tournament we run. By creating an account or registering for a tournament, you agree to them.

OneUp Series is run from Giza, Egypt. The fastest way to reach us is WhatsApp on 012 1119 4977.

Your account

One account per person. Use your real name and contact details — we use them to reach you about your registrations.
You are responsible for keeping your password safe and for everything done from your account.
Players under 18 need a parent or guardian to register on their behalf and to approve taking part.
We can suspend or remove an account that gives false information, is used by more than one person, or is used to abuse other players or staff.

Registering for a tournament

Registration is open only while a tournament shows "registration open", before its closing time, and while spots remain.
When you register, your spot is held for 10 minutes so you can send the entry fee and upload your screenshot. After that, the spot stays held until we have checked it.
The entry fee is shown in Egyptian pounds on the tournament page and is per entry — for doubles and team events, one fee covers the whole team.
Your registration is confirmed only after we have checked and accepted your payment. Until then it is not a reserved place.
For doubles and teams, the partner(s) you pick must already have an account. A player can be in only one entry per tournament.
Bring your own equipment unless the tournament page says otherwise, and be at the venue in time for check-in.

Paying

Transfer the exact amount shown at checkout by InstaPay or mobile wallet to the details on that page, and write your reference (for example OU-7F3K2Q) in the transfer note where your app allows it.
Upload a screenshot of the completed transfer. Without it we cannot match your payment, and your spot is released when the hold runs out.
We check every transfer by hand, usually within one working day, and at most three working days. If we cannot match it, we will contact you and may reject it.
Cash at the venue is only accepted when the organizers have agreed it with you in advance.
We never ask for card details, bank passwords or one-time codes. Ignore anyone who does.

Cancellations and refunds

Entry fees are not automatically refundable. See the refund policy — it is part of these terms.

Points and rankings

Points are awarded from published results using the rule set on the rules page, which can change between seasons.
We may correct results, points and rankings when there has been a scoring mistake or a successful dispute. Corrections are logged.

Behaviour at events

You must follow the referees' decisions and the venue's rules. Threats, violence, abuse, discrimination, cheating or being under the influence at an event can mean immediate disqualification and a ban from future tournaments, with no refund.

Photos and video

We take photos and video at our events and use them on this website, on social media and in promotion of the series. If you would rather not appear, tell us on WhatsApp and we will do our best to keep you out of published material.

Changes to a tournament

We may change a tournament's date, venue, format, draw size or capacity, and we will tell registered players by email as soon as we do. If we cancel a tournament, you get a full refund.

Your health and your things

You take part at your own risk and confirm you are fit to play. Tell the organizers about any medical condition we should know about. We are not responsible for injury, illness, loss, theft or damage to your belongings at an event, except where Egyptian law makes us responsible.

Using this website

Do not try to break into the site, scrape it, overload it, or use it to send spam. The OneUp Series name, logo and the content we publish belong to us; the content you upload stays yours, and you give us permission to show it on the site where it is meant to appear.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. The current version is always on this page with its date. If a change matters to registrations you have already made, we will tell you.

Law

These terms are governed by Egyptian law, and the courts of Giza have jurisdiction over any dispute.
